How to play LinkedIn Patches

Draw rectangles on the grid so that every cell belongs to exactly one patch and no patches overlap. Each patch must contain exactly one clue.

Clues tell you the size of the patch (the number of cells it covers) and, on some days, its shape, such as a square or a wide or tall rectangle. The puzzle is solved when the whole grid is covered by valid patches. Difficulty rises through the week.

Work from the most constrained area outwards; each finished patch removes options for its neighbors.
